Dear Community,
There are only 95 days until Election Day! This is why A National Agenda for Black Girls has partnered with When We All Vote.
When We All Vote is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization that is on a mission to increase participation in every election and close the race and age voting gap by changing the culture around voting, harnessing grassroots energy, and through strategic partnerships to reach every American. It was co-chaired by Michelle Obama, Janelle Monae, and others in 2018.
As a When We All Vote partner, NABG has committed to registering 2,000 new voters by election day. We are committed to mobilizing Black girls and their communities to the polls. Visit our voter portal to get registered to vote!
Black girls grow up to be Black women, and in 2016, 94% of Black women turned out and voted. It’s clear that Black women are active participants in our nation’s democracy and have had a tremendous hand in creating political change in America. We can’t leave a single eligible voter behind in November — are you ready to help us get folks registered?
How to Build Momentum:
Step 1: Visit https://www.whenweallvote.org/gge/
Step 2: Register yourself to vote if you are not already registered.
Step 3: Share the GGE voter portal with at least 10 friends and family members who are not registered to vote and ask them to sign up.
Quick, easy, and with long-lasting impact! Let’s make sure we have everyone we can voting for the needs of Black girls on Election Day.
